Brief Introduction
Whether in logistics, retail, healthcare, or other sectors, mobile computers assist users in data management, communication, and task processing. Today, we will provide a comprehensive guide on how to use mobile computers.
I. Initial Setup
1. Device Startup and Initialization
• Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. Once the system loads, check the screen display and network connection status (4G/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth).
• For first-time use, configure basic settings such as date, time, language, screen brightness, and auto-lock/shutdown options.
2. Network Configuration
• Access the system settings, select Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 4G network mode, and enter the required credentials to establish a connection.
• The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and full-network 4G connectivity to ensure stable data transmission.
II. Scanning Function Configuration
1. Barcode Scanning Operation
• Use the physical scan buttons on the top/side of the device (e.g., the orange shortcut key on the H68T or the UHF trigger key on the H60T). Align the scanner with the barcode at a distance of 5-30cm to initiate scanning.
• Upon a successful scan, the device will provide an audio or vibration alert, and the scanned data will be displayed on the screen, temporarily stored locally, or uploaded to a preset system.
2. Scan Parameter Settings
• Adjust scanning parameters in the system settings, such as enabling auto-scanning on startup, controlling alert sounds, and managing the auxiliary lighting function.
• Mobile computers support multiple barcode types, including 1D codes, QR codes, and DataMatrix codes, with a scanning frequency of ≥600 scans per second.
III. Data Collection and Management
1. Data Entry and Processing
• Use pre-installed applications (such as warehouse management or ERP software) to input item names, quantities, locations, and other details.
• Supports voice input (via microphone) and optional front/rear camera scanning or photography for additional functionality.
2. Data Transmission and Synchronization
• Wireless Transmission: Synchronize data in real-time via Wi-Fi/4G to the backend management system, supporting automated inventory reporting and restocking processes.
• Wired Transmission: Connect to a PC via a Type-C interface or Pogo Pin contacts for batch data export/import.
IV. Maintenance and Security
1. Device Maintenance
• Clean the exterior using a soft cloth with a neutral detergent, avoiding strong corrosive liquids. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C.
• Equipped with a removable 6000mAh battery, providing ≥12 hours of continuous operation, and supports fast charging via Type-C.
2. Access Control and Security
• Use MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools to set application whitelists, remotely lock screens, and enable data wiping to ensure enterprise data security.
• Optional security features include a PSAM encryption module or fingerprint recognition for enhanced protection of sensitive operations.
